My mission statement is simple.
I want to provide leadership and outreach to fellow nurses and others in the sharing of knowledge and ideas and in generating support for nurses in their work on violence against women.
I want to create supportive strategies to mitigate the effects of violence, abuse and exploitation of women in our society.
I want to sponsor international nursing conferences to link researchers, educators, providers and advocates who work in the area of violence against women.
I want to network at other major conferences and workshops attended by nurses, especially those who focus on women’s health and issues of violence.
