Lasagna And Green Salad

Hello Priscilla Bennett Friends,
It’s Priscilla’s husband Harry wanting to say, “Greetings” to everyone, and I hope you’re all well. Last night, the boys and I played cards in the living room, and the wives had their own meeting in the den. Pris made my favorite lasagna with Bolognese sauce and a big green salad from the market—this summer, the greens will come from our garden, and they have a more pungent fresher taste. The rest of the dinner was potluck—the wives brought celery, carrots, olives, homemade deserts and wine.
Pris had told me they all had read the book and wanted to discuss it, and later, after everyone had left, she told me about their reaction. “We knew you were a nurse, but we had no idea that this was happening.” “It’s shocking—what’s happening behind closed doors. Something must be done. How can we help?” By the time we finished our discussion, they had promised to be vigilant, to start a conversation with someone who might be a victim, to donate to domestic violence organizations and to pass the book out into the community. Pris was so happy, I wanted to share it with you.
Thank you for your time, and please visit the website at www.priscillabennett.com to connect with more information and support. As Pris always says, we all have SOMETHING TO BE BRAVE FOR.
Take good care until the next time,
HARRY
