First Barbecue Of The Season
Hello again, it’s Harry here! Checking in after Memorial Weekend to let you know that I’m thinking of you. I am a Vietnam Vet and am so proud to have served this country. Our family had a terrific time together grilling chicken and fish and barbequing pork ribs with home fries in our back yard surrounded by all the flowers Pris has planted—red geraniums, pink impatiens, purple petunias and ivy—before it started to rain.
Pris and I talked about my friends that I had lost in battle and about her patients whom she’d lost through domestic violence—all killed. We vowed to never forget the ones who had sacrificed their lives and reaffirmed our promise to continue our work to help. We are so lucky to have each other and our family.
